Our Story
Born from the reality of countless talents left behind in underserved communities due to poverty and lack of access, Bliss for the Needy Foundation exists to change that narrative. We restore hope, dignity, and belief to young people and families whose dreams have been delayed by circumstance. Through inclusive, community-driven programs addressing poverty, female health, education, gender equality, climate resilience, and social inclusion, we unlock human potential and build pathways to sustainable transformation. Working collaboratively with communities and partners, we deliver solutions aligned with global development priorities and local needs. With a strong focus on women and vulnerable populations, we are committed to transforming lives by ensuring that every person we serve, believes and experiences that there is bliss at the end of their story.
VISION
We envision a world where no child or young person is limited by broken systems or forgotten by society. Bliss for the Needy Foundation exists to restore dignity, opportunity, and belief to underserved and underrepresented communities. Through holistic, community-driven, SDG-aligned solutions, we aim to empower 500,000 lives by 2030, ensuring every story finds hope, and ends in bliss.
FOUNDER
Bliss for the Needy Foundation was founded by Bliss Ifunaya Celestine, an award-winning girls’ education activist whose own dreams were once delayed by a system that overlooked hidden talent. Growing up in an underserved community, Bliss faced countless barriers, yet with her sisters’ support, she attended high school. Despite financial struggles, Bliss earned a BSc with First Class Honors, graduating as the Best Student of her College from Igbinedion University, Okada.
Today, Bliss channels her journey into transforming lives, restoring hope, and empowering underserved communities, ensuring that no talent, dream, or story is forgotten, bringing bliss to those long overlooked.
